Towneplace Suites by Marriott Miami Airport

Lovely, new clean hotel... very friendly front desk staff. Very helpful. Thanks Kevin! Only 10/15 minute wait at airport for shuttle bus. Took only a few minutes then to arrive at hotel. We picked this hotel as we knew we were arriving late after long transatlantic flight and saw online that there were restaurants nearby. Driver kindly said he could drop us to a nearby restaurant (Catch of the day) when we were ready but we walked as it was less than 5 minutes walk away. He dropped us to our car hire centre the next morning, with no wait time. Great shuttle bus service! Had a room with 2 queen beds because there is a kitchenette with table and 4 chairs in the room, it was deeper than most so it didn't feel too cramped with 4 suitcases. Check out was 12pm, which is later than most hotels. Anything past this time they charge $50. Breakfast is finished by 9am sharp!!! Not the best breakfast but filled a gap. I would have given a top score except and mainly because they didn't have a safe in the room and if breakfast hours were longer and breakfast quality was better but saying all that I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay and would definitely stay again. Well done Towneplace Suites by Marriott!

Nice room, pretty good price, parking pretty expensive while other hotels it was free, breakfast staff rude and inflexible with breakfast being over at 9am- promptly!
