Horrible experience
Check- in was horrible. I was given the keys and went to the cabin. The cabin was not clean, smelt of urine and there were no beds made. I then went back to reception to advise them of this only to be told that some rooms had not been cleaned since March 2020. I was also told that there were not cabins with a spa bath which I had paid for. I was then given a 2nd lot of keys in the hope that it was a cabin with spa ( reception staff were unsure ) Reception staff were also unsure whether there were people staying in this 2nd cabin. Luckily it was vacant and clean but still no spa .My 3rd visit to reception where I gathered my 3rd lot of keys. Once again reception staff were unsure whether it was clean and had a spa. I was semi- confident about the spa because the word appeared on the key. After 45 minutes we were finally in our cabin. The check in process was a disaster as you had staff that had no idea whether rooms were clean or dirty and whether there was someone in the room at the time. Our room was comfortable and had an oven, microwave, room for 4 people at the dining table however only had a 2 seater couch which isn't big enough given that it can sleep 6 people. For checkout we dropped the key in the key return box ( as reception was closed at 10.00 am - unsure why you would be closed at this time ) We ended getting a phone call 2 hours later asking whether we had checked out. Wouldn't you use common sense to check the key return box first ? Horrible experience
