Overall good stay with some minor issues
The food was a good price for it being a buffet but saying this the food quality isn't amazing but it is still good. The room was clean and good quality for the price with it being so close to the sea. The bed was very comfortable and cushions were actually a good thickness compared to a lot of hotels. However when I went to make a bath for myself the water did not run clear at all from the bath tap and it was a light brown. So I decided to not use the washing facilities.

Royal Bath Hotel review 10/10
On first arrival the hotel has a grand entrance way above the money you would pay to stay here. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are very clean and are also very cozy, they provide soaps and tea and biscuits which makes you feel at home. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bournemouth for sure this gets 10/10 from me and the swimming pool sauna and gym are a great extra not to mention the food is great here

OK for a couple of days
Great location. However, the hotel needs lots of improvements. Bed is a really uncomfortable, very hard mattress. There are no power sockets close to bed. There's a kettle. However, the cable isn't long enough to plug in. the only way to use it is if you place on the floor (what I didn't try). Wi-fi is charged, and parking is charged. Leisure facilities are charged. Bedroom was big, but old carpet, old windows that allowed the wind to get in and make the room freezing (even with 2 radiators on).

Terrible stay.
There was no light on the bathroom mirror, the heating didn’t work in the room and the shower was Abysmal it trickled out and I took a video of the tap when I tried to run a bath it would of taken a week to fill up. I will be making an official complain, on arrival a gentleman was checking out and he turned to me and said whatever you do ‘do not have the breakfast it’s absolutely revolting’ so that was my welcome to the hotel. I’m extremely disappointed on this occasion and have stayed in the royal bath a number of times.

A great stay
The room was the best one we’ve stayed in at the hotel ( 3 times this year ) The only downside was whoever was in the room above was walking around and making a noise up to about 3am That’s the first time this has happened while we stayed there All the staff were great, with a special mention to the restaurant staff

Lovely old hotel
Lovely hotel with a decent pool and sauna. Great position and grounds. It once was THE best hotel in Bournemouth but is a little down at heel...maybe part of its charm I would happily return.

Must plan 2 hours for Spa
We upgraded our stay and the manager made sure we were very comfortable through out our stay. I liked that you pay for food and leisure separately. So you can use what you need. Food especially wanted to eat outside with many choices available locally. Sea view, must go Swimming and spa its the most relaxing as well as the balcony for sun and coffee. Make sure you call up the hotel to check whats on as live music was very well planed and perfect for the drinks at the bar. Very welcoming and pleased.
