Excellent breakfast at a friendly hotel.
We had a lovely four day stay at this hotel. I was particularly impressed with friendliness of the staff and indeed the other residents. It was all very relaxed, inclusive and friendly. I was also particularly impressed with the breakfast. The choice from the buffet was very good and had clearly been carefully selected. The cooked breakfast was really nice with good quality and well cooked ingredients. Downside was the heat in the rooms overnight and as we had a balcony that shared with 4 other rooms so were unhappy about sleeping with it open. Also a second floor room with no lift made for a long trip up at the end of a busy day. All on all, I would definitely use this hotel again.

This is not a criticism but the shower was not powerful enough due to low water pressure maybe a power shower would do the trick

We liked virtually everything about this nicely run hotel. Run as a small hotel, with the absolute warmth of a truly British seaside B&B. This hotel was very clean, and the linen in all the rooms, bathroom, bedroom and dining/breakfast room was immaculate. The rooms were pleasantly decorated and the staff were polite and accommodating. Breakfast was always served as you liked it. The bar meals were limited but were nicely dished up with a good pint of beer. We were there for a fortnight and enjoyed our stay in our very spacious and comfortable rooms. My only criticism is regarding the toilet seats (only experienced 2, in our bathroom and in the public toilet near the lounge) which were those horrible cheap, thin bendy one's, although they were always clean. In general I would say "Keep up the good work Agneta and Pascal, and thank you for being good hosts".

Positives: Lovely, clean and quiet hotel, helpful and friendly staff, tasty breakfast, great location. Will stay there again. Things to consider: Shower cubicle very small, limited hanging space for clothes and wet towels.

The hotel portrays a good looking freshly painted property, the reality is the the paint work is covering up many poorly finished features! The entry into the hotel has bare floor boards that need better finishing. In our two room booking there was not a wardrobe just the cheapest hangers hanging of coat hook rails. The biggest room our bedroom was approximately 8’ x 11 feet.we could barely get around the room without getting in each others way! The electric water heater that was inside the shower enclosure was poor hot water out of the base of the unit and did not look safe. We also had no heater in either room on the first night! It was miserable getting up the following morning as the temperate plunged! After our first night there we talked to the front desk. He said they would look into these matters. The heating was corrected by turning on the power to the two wall heaters and supplying one remote to adjust them. That certainly helped and should have been ready for our first day there! The water heater had a note on it saying out of service use shower in other bedroom! When I talked to the front desk they said it was not safe as the water was leak from inside the unit. really 240volt this is horrendous! So we had to share air sons shower. This is one the worst hotel we have stayed in. The breakfast offerings were actually very good and we had no complaints as the choices were vast from cereals fruit to cooked full breakfast! we can only comment on rooms 10 & 11!

Great stay and value
We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and accommodating. Check in was quick and easy and the owner gave us a map describing things to do in the local area. The room was a good size with ensuite and clean, only slight negative was there was no wardrobe, however, there were plenty of hangers. Breakfast was included in our stay and was cooked to order including a large selection of continental all of which was very good. The service at breakfast great and the overall service and value for money was excellent. We would definitely stay again.
