This was a return visit and it was as good as the first. Desk staff were friendly and efficient; room service was rapid and the food was warm; the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet; and to top it off a booking error on our part was swiftly sorted with no inconvenience to us. Our room was set up as twin beds not double so had to return to change room. New room was double but had an extremely noisy a/c unit. Couldn’t change room again because of lack of time. A bit disappointing but otherwise stay was fine. Good value gin and tonics during happy hour 4-6pm

The Deco Hotel is well located, next to the tram line. It’s also one of Canberra’s newer hotels, therefore with the high end beds and other amenities that come with that, but without the high price tag of some of the other new hotels in Canberra. Hot tip though - larger cars need to take it easy in and out of the quirkily organised carpark.

The one bedroom apartment was nice and clean. Good customer service as well. 24/7 reception service was very convenient. The location was great since it's close to the city and shops. Although we had to pay $15 per night for the car park, it was ok because the car park was underground and safe. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back next time if we visit Canberra again.
