This hotel is substandard in quality. It is situated in close proximity to the train station, thereby facilitating easy access via a brief walk. The size of the room I was allocated was okay, and it was kept clean. However, the room lacked a safe and a full-size mirror. Moreover, hot water was unavailable during the afternoon, and the soap dispenser was defective. No housekeeping service was provided during my stay, and there was no provision for room service. The room contained only one power outlet, which was inconveniently located on the opposite side of the bed. The mattresses were excessively firm, though the pillows were sufficiently soft. Curiously, the hotel imposes a daily fee of £7 for the use of their Wi-Fi services. The clientele of the hotel is diverse, and the pervasive odor of marijuana permeates the lobby and hallways. In the evenings, the lobby staircase was occupied by individuals consuming alcohol from bottles while smoking. On one particular morning, the fire alarm sounded six times from 6:40 am to 7:05 am, possibly due to someone smoking marijuana in their room. The breakfast offerings were adequate, but caution should be exercised when consuming the pre-packaged servings of jam and marmalade on the buffet, as some have been used and returned to the container.
