I was a bit put off by the external appearance, but the inside was excellent. Everything seemed very new and clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. Everything you need for a very good price.

First time staying here and must admit I was very impressed the hotel was spotless, bed was very comfy and would recommend to anyone who wants to be right next to the city centre. Stayed in other hotels which are nearly double the price and they were not as good as this one. Will Definitely be booking again in the future.

Good location and value for money. Design of bathroom bad making toilet space almost so tight to be impossible to use! Turn the sink through 90deg and the use of space would be so much better and user friendly. Host didn't contact me with check in and access details until prompted. OK other than that.

There were no staff in evidence apart from a security guard who let himself into my room after 9 when I was in bed. There was no one to help me up the stairs with my luggage nor to help me navigate the key boxes which meant fiddly actions with both arms raised. Not to be recommended for elderly people on their own. The room itself was roomy and well arranged.

Arrived at car park behind the hotel were were staying fir 2 nights, so car park cost 18£, its not ran by the hotel, there us a car park nearby but due to us arriving late we didn't know exactly where other carpark was. I didn't receive a message from hotel to let me know code to get in but luckily a woman walking by gave me the phone no, i spoke to a very helpful gentleman and he sent me all the details I needed for our stay! We got to our room, we were pleased it was clean, warm, comfy bed, kettle and coffee/tea supplied! Lovely big shower but the smallest sink, you could only fill kettle up using a mug. Would stay there again, handy for town centre! Good price!!

Booked as a base to explore Hull. It's basic but immaculately clean and perfect for a quick stop over.

I guess you get what you pay for. Rooms were clean and fresh. A few things let our stay down however. Curtains were missing hooks and were falling of the wall. Small Led lamp fell to pieces ( very cheap). Matteress wasn’t the greatest. Location was good. Wouldn’t stop again but overall 4/10 generally.

The room was nice and clean just what we needed, Couple of minuses was I had to repair the pedestal fan in the room; the bathroom fan does not seem to work even after turning the switch on which is just outside the bathroom. The wall between the room and bathroom has some new plaster dropped out but apart from the above everything else was really nice. We did not use the kitchen or the other amanitas we just needed somewhere to drop our bags off and get a good night sleep which we did. I have only said about the fans etc to give info, so the rooms get a bit more of an inspection, this did not spoil our stay at all.

Had to ring customer services to get the entry code etc, but details sent straight away. Easy walking distance to the town centre and bus/train station. Room was very spacious (I was upgraded from a single to a double), clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to other travellers 🙂

The front door need to be fixed as the pin doesn’t work, I called customer service and they informed to use the back door which was helpful, the lady was very professional and nice. The room had some dirt in the left hand side draw, also there was some eyelashes in the bed and some socks at the top of the wardrobe. The cleaning need to be better in the room, waking up and finding some lashes is not the best as I don’t use fake eyelashes it was disgusting.

Bathroom door doesn’t close. Owner /management did not respond when contacted about other unruly guests setting fire alarm off three times - causing us to evacuate at midnight in -2 temperatures. Bedding definitely was not clean

Clean and comfortable but overpriced

It was a last minute booking due to our original hotel cancelling the evening before the Coldplay concert. It was adequate, clean and comfortable however extremely overpriced and clearly the hotel was taking advantage of people visiting for the concert. I looked and tonight the evening after the same hotel room is 185 cheaper.

Walking in, the room smelt of cigarettes and damp. It was shocking. The mattress was appalling as well - it might as well have not be there. Would have been more comfortable sleeping on the slats. In the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off in the whole hotel - with no staff manning the place, I’d be surprised if the owner even knows this happened. It was simply silenced by a fellow guest, which meant it went off again later in the evening. I also failed to see any fire safety signs around the hotel, no muster point or anything? We were just left guessing. What if there was an actual fire? The walls must be made of paper mache, as you can hear everything everyone is saying - might as well join in the conversation. There is a good 4cm gap in the bottom of the door too - so anyone walking down the hallway can be heard. Might be better too to have a closing time for the kitchens - people are trying to sleep and others are marauding up the corridor as if they’re doing a marching drill in the army! Would not recommend and will not be staying again!
