We’ve just spent four nights at Casa de la Flora and it’s been the best hotel experience in the last 8 years of travelling the world together! We had booked a Beachfront Pool Villa and got a free upgrade to Grand Beach Front Pool Villa, our jaws hit the floor when first being shown round the room and the view of sea from our bedroom window was perfect for watching sunsets. The service from the staff is outstanding and there’s plenty of food options on the menu both in the restaurant and for in-room dining. We will definitely stay here again if holidaying in Khao Lak again in the future.

Great location. The problem is there bed and pillows are terrible. They need to upgrade. The location is kind of weird. There is no real beach. You can swim but you climb down stairs and jump in. No beach. It’s sketchy if you are not a strong swimmer.

1st time staying at Casa de La Flora with my gf, staffs was very friendly n helpful in every way. The room was great, love the bed n pillows, and the huge bathtub, that is really something. The beach, is a little sad, cant really, litter with rubbish n debris. We just hang out in our private pool n swim in the main pool. Cant swim in the sea anyway, too windy n choppy. The restaurant we had our breakfast, service was good in a way, food was just above par. Hotel should consider providing some form of transportation at least to main road (Bang Niang market taxi point), this is due to poorly lit street outside the hotel road & during the day it can be quite dusty due to the cars n bikes using the road. Overall i would say our stay was great but not awesome.

Bra rum och mycket bra frukost. Fint anlagd och välskött resort med mycket växtlighet. Den allmänna poolen är liten och har ett tråkigt läge. Resorten ligger i ett av de tråkigare delarna av Khao Lak.

Das Casa de la Flora ist für uns das beste Hotel in Khao Lak! Es war von Anfang bis Ende einen Traumurlaub! Wir erhielten ein Upgrade in die Beachfront Grand Pool Villa, welche atemberaubend ist! Der eigene grosse Pool, die super bequemen Liegen und vor allem die Aussicht auf das Meer war ein absolutes Highlight! Der Service im Hotel ist auch perfekt und das Frühstück war das Allerbeste!! Die Pancakes, Omeletten, frische Früchte, egal was man bestellt es ist alles qualitativ hochwertig und einfach wunderbar. Und auch die Aussicht vom Frühstück einfach auf das Meer mit Palmen, was will man mehr:-). Auch die Massage im Hotel war super! Die Lage ist auch gut, man hat seine Ruhe und ist in max. 15min zu Fuss im Dorf wo super feine Restaurants sind und der Markt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Wonderful hotel with a lot of issues.
I’ve stayed 2 nights in the Beachfront pool villa. And the room and the view are beautiful, pool is nice and spacious, breakfast was good and cocktails were surprisingly great as well, staff was nice too.
But:
- the worse issue for me was terrible internet, it’s on and off, the speed is slow often, please fix it
- light switches are not reliable and hard to use; scales in the room didn’t work, phone didn’t seem to work properly too, eveything is a bit dated - a lot of small things
Still a great hotel, I would stay again assuming the internet will get better.

My wife and I travelled to Thailand for the first time in Sept and finished our holiday at Casa de la Flora. We didn't know what to expect but were taken aback by the beauty and modern design of the hotel and most of all the personalised customer service from the staff. The welcome we received at near midnight from Olaf and his team was so warm and friendly.
The rooms or capsule like hubs are fantastic. Personalised to your preferred room scent available from the hotels selection to even the smart tv console. Each villa has it's own level of privacy and small pool which is great particularly if you fancy a dip late at night. Outside of this is a huge main pool with a gorgeous infinity view of the ocean horizon. The spa is also fantastic.
Location wise, the place is great. 5-10 mins walk away is a local town with a wide variety of very tasty eating options, salons, massage centres and activity tour offices. The hotel itself offers personal day trips or group tours depending on your preference. We lucked out with a trip to Khao Sok national park and Chiew lake which was fairly empty at that time of year and had a beautiful cruise in the sun. We even cycled to a nearby waterfall on the team's recommendation that was worth every ounce of sweat in the hot heat!
In essence, the hotel was A-mazing and what added the icing for us was the warmth and kindness from the team - Olaf, Poppy and others to name just a few. Would return in a heartbeat!

Great hotel, we liked our little villa on the waterfront and the pool. Spa and pool area are nice, nice little restaurant with good breakfast and the staff is so attentive and polite. It's important to note that the high tide causes the whole room to shake (not sure why) but I was scared on our first night, no one explained that in advance and I'm not sure they would understand if we asked since their English was good enough to communicate but basic.

Great place to stay to rejuvenate ourselves... Relax and laid back... staying at beachfront is the right choice.. friendly staffs. Awesome breakfast menu.. Overall experience was great, it would have been greater if they allow us to late check out at 4pm since it’s the low season now.

Amazing! Took a little bit of time to get checked in (we booked a few hours before we arrived so they were not initially aware of our reservation) but very friendly staff! We were greeted with a coconut drink and cold towel. We were upgraded to a better room - gorgeous! The plunge pool is small but still got the job done and was nice for being private. Breakfast exceeded my expectations - all inclusive, unlimited, a la carte with creative options. I had the spanakopita Benedict. Yum! Lots of fresh fruit juice options and delicious coffee as well.

Memorable Holiday at Casa De La Flora
The service is beyond my expectation. The reservation team notice that I’m pregnant, they carefully look after me. They informed that they will serve water instead of their normal welcome drink which is coconut that is not suitable for pregnant people. F&B service is superb, one of them told the chef to cook well done meat as he saw I’m pregnant. Overall, it was one of my memorable stay. Casa De La Flora is truly luxury 5 stars hotel.
