No remarks for the staff, everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The pool is open till 22.00. The location is perfect in my opinion, inside a great shopping center with a large Carrefour and next to Al Rigga road, which is a fun bustling street, and next to metro Union (both lines).
A few things that were lacking:
- The biggest one was an odd noise that persisted through the night, a kind of hum that would come and go at very short intervals. We couldn’t figure out where it was coming from, tried turning off the AC but it was still present. I’d you’re a light sleeper like me it can really ruin your night
- There’s an odd, very subtle sour-ish smell in the room. Felt like it was coming from the carpet. The carpeting itself had clearly seen better days and was visibly stained all over.
- Even though the windows are sealed, the sound isolation isn’t perfect. The hum of airplanes taking off and landing can be heard, including at night.
- I was surprised to see some of the furniture and equipment in the poor condition that it was. The metallic soap holder in the bathroom was completely rusty
Finally, the staff will offer you a perk and ask to review the hotel in Google in return. This in itself might not be so bad, but they ask for it immediately at check in, not making it explicit that the review can be done after the stay. This puts a lot of people into an awkward position where they feel obligated to write a nice review BEFORE their stay.
