The room is ok but dusty. We like the open air hot tub. It has nice view of the river. The breakfast was great. We also love its location. It is 5 minutes walk from Hakone-Yumoto train and bus station.

If you want to stay in a traditional ryokan in Hakone, this is the place to stay! We had our own private outdoor bath and there is a private onsen you can book on the top floor. The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond. It was my fiancé's birthday and they ordered a cake for him upon my request. When we go back to Hakone, we will definitely be staying here again.
