Wouldn't recommend.
When we checked in there was a sign that the pool was closed for maintenance. They should let guests know that before booking. We put our luggage in the room and headed straight to the Iowa game. When we got back later on that evening we noticed the smoke detector had been removed from the ceiling. It was too late to say anything so we just went to bed. When we woke up in the morning there was no hot water. We waited about 30 minutes and tried again and it was still just freezing cold water. Not to mention the curtain rod was about to fall off the wall. My boyfriend went down to the front desk to ask what the problem was and no one was around. He thought since they had breakfast out he would grab some juice. Said the apple juice was so disgusting he had to spit it out. When he got back to the room we tried the hot water again and it was still cold so we just packed up and left. We knew while booking this hotel that it wasn't going to be high end but the fact that you couldn't even take a hot shower is ridiculous. Only nice thing I have to say is that the bed was comfortable.

No TV
Room was comfy no complaints there, but no TV ... we had a young gentleman try to help fix it, but he was new and didn't know how. So no TV... ugh!! We complained in morning and front desk lady didn't know much either. I find out from a couple we are traveling with that they had 2 remotes one for TV And 1 for satellite. Frustrating none of the staff new how to fix it!'

My wife and I stayed one night passing through Cedar Rapids. Older hotel and not very clean in the room. Not sure if floors were vacuumed. Sheets had stains on them and the replacement sheets also appeared to be stained. Probably wouldn’t want to stay more than one night.

The hotel has some issues they may be addressing. TV channel choices were odd and limited, and the hot tub plug did a horrible job keeping the water from draining. I saw and killed multiple ants and a roach. Overall, it was a disappointing stay.

Could be worse I guess.
The room itself wasn’t terrible at first glance, but after close examination there was a lot wrong with it. There were no USB plugins on any of the outlets, our TV barely worked, most of the remote and TV functions were broken or disabled, the shower curtain had black mold spots, and the shower head was broken and secured with a hair tie. Overall, if I had the time and money to book another hotel, I would have. The room was clean but there was so much that could have been done better.

Disgustingly poor
The breakfast was horrible. Food was ice cold, ran out of waffle mix, ran out of juices and plastic forks. The room did not have any drinking cups in it. The seat on the toilet was so loose it almost fell off and the ice machines were broken.

It was comfortable and enjoyable. However, the property needs quite a bit of upgrading. There were several problems in the breakfast area (juice machine out-of-order, the waffle iron not working correctly, and a bit of a problem with cleanliness of the area.

The lobby was nice, but the room smelled the second we opened the door. Mold on the air conditioning unit. Water in the bathroom was brown. Someone tried breaking into our car overnight. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Get the hell out - Crack place
Pulled in with a bump waiting infant of facility. Broken glass doors walking towards room. Guy sitting drinking beers in the walkway. When we opened the drapes there was a mom breast feeding her baby on a bench with her husband doing crack. We got the hell out of this place.

The TV did not work. We told the front desk and they were supposed to fix it but it did not happen. One of our towels had stains on it. I asked for replacement towel and I was told there were no more towels. They gave me pool towels which I was ok with. The pool area had no towels.
