Such a lovely Bed and Breakfast, with very comfortable, large, and clean rooms and a beautiful garden. Every morning the owner prepared a breakfast of fruit, yogurt, and an assortment of pastries. The owner also helped us arrange taxis and gave us resturaunt recommendations. This property is also very well situated as it is quiet, but only a couple of minutes easy walk to bars and restaurants. Very beautiful property and a wonderful stay.

Jean-Luc and Valerie were very friendly and took the time to show us the room and talk about the history of this old part of Avignon. There are narrow streets and lots of charm and character. The room had some nice touches and decor. The breakfast was relaxed in this very quiet part of town. Everything is walkable. Thanks to Jean-Luc for helping us with a taxi to the station (as mentioned the streets are narrow).

Charming room and a lovely garden with a small pool. A very nice living room area with plenty of books , magazines and games. They had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 24/7 access to teas, coffees, water and juices. They had a lovely breakfast for us with fresh breads and pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt. Jean Luc was a gracious host. He even arranged a taxi for us upon departure. Highly recommend.

We started our stay on a very positive note. The hotel itself was lovely, comfortable, and perfectly fine for our needs. The woman who welcomed us was especially kind and gracious, taking the time to show us around and making us feel very welcome. Unfortunately, breakfast the following morning was a completely different experience. We came down and waited at least 10 minutes, but there was absolutely nobody around. The kitchen door was open, and we could see baskets of croissants, bread, and cake, while plates had already been placed on the small tables. There was no sign whatsoever saying not to help yourself, nor had anyone told us beforehand that breakfast was table service and that we were supposed to sit and wait for someone to bring food to us. After standing around for 10 minutes with nobody in sight, naturally we assumed it was self-service and helped ourselves to some croissants and jelly. Eventually, a gentleman appeared and brought us a tiny glass jar containing a little minced melon, one slice of kiwi, one small piece of strawberry, and a small container of yogurt. The entire breakfast felt incredibly uninspired and, frankly, rather stingy. What really surprised us was when he noticed my partner was still eating and told him that we were supposed to wait because each table receives its own basket containing a specific, counted amount of bread and croissants. How exactly were we supposed to know this? Nobody was there, there was no sign explaining it, and nobody

Jean-luv and Valarie are the most charming hosts. They were very helpful and provided a lovely breakfast with a smile every morning. This hotel is quaint but trick to find, Google maps will be your friend. We would very much recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area, it is beautiful, quiet, and has the best bath tub I have ever the the pleasure to soak in❤️.

In addition to the property being clean, fresh and complete with all the amenities needed, including a wading pool for the hot summer afternoons, the hosts made us feel completely taken care of. From the greeting to the farewell, Valerie and Jean-Luc were so generous of spirit, taking pride in their establishment and service. We were fortunate to have found availability and spend a couple of nights which included the first night of summer.

Jean Luc is a great host. Between my bad French and his pigeon English we just about got by, but with a lot of grace and good humour. The property is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the stunning Palais de Pape in the old walled city. Try and book ahead and nab the downstairs courtyard room. That puts you in pole position for the little pool and breakfast area and saves you having to lug heavy suitcases up two flights of steps. There’s a carrefour store and a Boulangerie just around the corner and the use of a big fridge plus tea and coffee making facilities by the downstairs lounge.

Romantica provenza

Ottima struttura nel cuore del centro storico di Avignone, situato in un palazzo antico perfettamente ristrutturato in stile provenzale, camere spaziose per la media francese, arredate con gusto. Pulizia ottima, molto gentile e disponibile la proprietaria seppur non conosca la lingua italiana. Colazione abbondante e genuina servita nella veranda o nel piccolo ma molto caratteristico giardino interno a bordo piscina. Lo consiglio se si vuole visitare Avignone e la provenza. Consiglio il parcheggio a pagamento circa 15/20 euro al giorno denominato des halles sopra il mercato alimentare coperto, davvero a due passi dalla struttura. (5 minuti a piedi)

This was a true gem! Valerie and Jean Luc did everything to make our stay incredible. The beds and linens were very soft. The area is very quiet and relaxing. They were gracious with making early breakfast (which was delicious! pastry, breads, cheese, eggs, fruit, yogurt, coffee). When I liked the cheese, they helped us make a picnic for the train when we departed. The location is very close to everything but tucked away in a charming street.They also recommended a driver that could pick us up from the train station and drive us to our activities. Take them up on that for sure! Mohammed was a god send. All in all, 3 perfect nights in Avignon and I wish we could come back more frequently!
