We liked the roof terrace and location, the atmosphere was very welcoming. Around the corner there was a terrific ice-cream shop.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Very clean and you can't beat it for the price. Super highly recommend. Have stayed at other places in Old Havana and they simply can't compare in any way with this fantastic place.

This was my third time staying at Hostal Peregrino and I imagine I’ll be back again the next time I’m in Havana. Aside from being conveniently located within walking distance of all of Havana Vieja, immaculately clean and comfortable, and extremely reasonably priced, it has also been a great part of my Cuba experience getting to know everyone who works there. Alex (the manager) speaks excellent English, and everyone else was extremely patient with me and helpful as I was in the process of becoming more fluent in Spanish between my first visit in January through my second visit in August and September. The neighborhood surrounding the Hostal is also full of some wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, bars, Havana’s best ice cream shops, and probably a two minute walk away from the Cathedral and the beginning of The Lonely Planet’s walking tour of Havana. Everything about Hostal Peregrino was wonderful & I’m already looking forward to being back there again.

on the first night we arrived without our luggage and the owner was very supportive. we later found out that the night shift on duty that evening had given us an unfavourable exchange rate to the tune of forty pounds. the owner, when learning of this , was horrified. her assistant alex was a great guy and always available - but we never saw our forty pounds . . breakfast meagre, coffee was in short supply, something we didn't encounter at later accommodations . .

Las habitaciones están amorosamente decoradas, impecablemente limpias, con aire acondicionado, ventilador y television. Lo mejor es la amable atención de Alex y tambien Zaily que dan un seguimiento personalizado a cada visitante, poveen información confiable y están atentos a cada cosa. Resuelven inmediatamente traslados a aeropuerto y Varadero, y cualquier otro servicio. La ubicación del Hostal es buena porque permite caminar hasta la mejor parte de la Habana Vieja. Lamentablemente, en mi visita la ciudad lucía algo abandonada y sucia, pero esperemos que eso mejore pronto. Para una estancia segura y tranquila, este hostal es muy adecuado.

Hostal liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt und man hat von dort jede Menge Möglichkeiten. Im Preisleistungsverhältnis absolut weiter zu empfehlen. Maria serviert morgens gutes Frühstück wenn man möchte.

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer erreicht schon fast Boutiquehotel-Standard. Die Unterkunft verfügt über eine gemütliche Lounge und eine hübsche Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Bucht. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück reichhaltig. Die Lage im Chacon sehr attraktiv und zentral.

Near to many museums. Havana Vieja is not cheap as Viñales, Havana Vieja => breakfast around 6 dls - lunch around 12 - 15 dls - Drinks between 1.5 - 3 dls, but you could find drinks on 5 dls!!!

все согласно кубинскому колориту ...бедность и грязь кругом.. в ДОМАХ У ЛЮДЕЙ СТЕКОЛ НЕТ...район - относительно хороший , состояние отеля на 5 ( стекла есть в окнах) и чисто - высокие потолки...интересно когда заселялись,,,,звонили звонили и нам ключик от входа спустили на веревочке сверху,, Такого уже нигде не встретите -Я это и называю кубинский колорит....однозначно советую...
