Anoor Studios & Apartments in Gemmayze

Anoor Studios & Apartments in Gemmayze

6/10 Okay
"It’s important to know whether a hotel has a staff on the premises. I booked my stay via Hotels.com. First, I received a confusing message about my credit card being declined & my reservation being canceled. I called the number for clarification & I was told the message was errant. I then received the information regarding the passcodes for the front door & the door to my room. I had to wait in a cafe next door because it’s not possible to check in early at an automated hotel. I don’t recall being informed that this hotel is actually an automated human storage facility. But the neighborhood was good at least before the war."

6/10 Okay
"I understand that it was Ramadan. But I ought to be able to secure a cup of coffee in the dining area. There were no staff on hand & the garbage can behind the counter was overflowing. I had to go to the front desk & remind the manager that some sort of service must be in place for non-Muslims. The clerk rang a bell & ten minutes later a guy comes out & starts moving the chairs & mopping the floor. It was maladroit. I paid for a continental breakfast. I would have been happy if they had brewed a pot of coffee. But they couldn’t even do that. It’s a sad situation in Beruit. It’s going to fall apart."
