"Stayed here for a family beach trip and overall I'd give it about a 7/10.
The biggest positive is the value. We paid around $600 for three nights on a beachfront property, and for that price I don't think you can expect luxury. The hotel is definitely showing its age and could use some updates, but the room was clean enough, the AC worked, the pool was nice, and beach access was excellent.
The location is really what you're paying for. We were able to walk right out to the beach in just a couple of minutes, and the pool area had a good atmosphere. Our room was listed as Gulf-side. The palm trees blocked most of the direct view from our balcony, but if you stood in the right spot you could still see the ocean.
The crowd was a mixed bag and the property can feel a little rough around the edges compared to more expensive resorts. That said, nobody bothered us, and once we settled in, it wasn't an issue.
This is not the place to stay if you're looking for a fancy resort experience. If you want updated rooms, luxury amenities, and a polished atmosphere, you'll probably be disappointed. If you're a budget-conscious traveler who mainly wants a clean place to sleep, a pool, and easy beach access, it's a solid option.
I would stay here again. The price was right, and the beach was great.
One piece of advice: bring a small broom. Sand will find it's way in."
