Ghost City Inn
The Inn was so cute and cozy. I love all the lace and the special artifacts of times past within. There were so many cute trinkets of the old days within, the lobby had constant old time music playing. The people helping run the establishment were very accommodating and I loved the room atmosphere and decor. The only thing that worried me was the fear of damaging the expensive unique quilt on the bed or my hair dye coming off on the pillow cases. I was thinking maybe they should have a black pillow case for those with colored hair since I ended up having to sleep with a towel under my head across the pillow all night. I do love the inn it was so special.

Stability Stressor
The first thing I want to make known is that all rooms at the hotel are either on the 2nd or 3rd floors. We took our 75-year-old parents to Jerome while they were visiting from PA. I would have never booked a 3rd-floor room for them, we were stressed every time we went up and down. Also, the stairs are not stable or even, another stressor. The hotel should not be called a Bed & Breakfast either, they only offered a few blueberry muffins, sausage fritters, and a little fruit with coffee. I just expected a little more construction stability and breakfast.

December Getaway
We were comfortable at Ghost City Inn but one thing we noticed is the bed was very high with no step stool provided to get in (I am short). On the website there was no indication of whether there would be a microwave, refrigerator or coffee available. We did find a Keurig coffee machine in the main entrance/breakfast room and a there was also fruit, a frittata, and blueberry muffin available in the morning which we weren't aware of when booking. We did appreciate that! There was just one chair in our room and 2 would be nice. We did enjoy the balcony outside our room on the East side for a little bit the following morning since the sun was shining but otherwise a cold day! The outdoor area was nice but could use a little TLC. Our location was good to walk to restaurants and shopping.

We have not visited the property yet. We have reservations for a couple weeks from now. My beef is Expedia contacted the faciltiy several times in an attempt to change dates and there was no response from the facility until after our reservation dates. We intended to spend our honeymoon here and had to reconfigure our plans. Later they reached out and rescheduled.

Very nice inn
We enjoyed our stay and the room we chose. One thing to note for those choosing to stay at this quaint inn. Typically you chose an inn like this to meet and talk with the owners or at least the person managing it. Checking in and out is totally contactless. When we walked through the small lobby on several occasions, the person in the office never came out to greet us. So just a heads up if you prefer a more personal experience.

The whole place is unique, each room is different and very personal, the owner put much effort into it. Everything was clean and tidy, instructions for access very clearly explained. We felt very comfortable right away. We didn’t get to meet the people taking care of the place, we assume, due to wanting to get the impression of a real ghost place, which we thought was funny in one way but s bit unfortunate, not to be able to connect socially.
