there is major road construction going on in Gainsville,TX. It has the motel completely blocked for customers to figure out how toget inthe driveway. I drove in circles for 2 hours trying to just get to the place. I finally do get there and the room i was given the tub was awful and the tv wouldnt work. I got a different room. the floor was filthy and the tub was ok but the TV did not work in this room either. I had made it clear that i needed an iron to press my clothes for the funeral i was to attend the next day. the 2nd room had no iron so i went and got the one from the first room that I had been told was there best room. When i booked the room Ithought i had booked a king with a sitting room. There was no headsup about the construction zone either . It was so stressful . when imade it back home inoticed that my car was sitting lower on the back passenger side. I didnt see the hole in the driveway to the motel when I finally found it and broke something. the saddest part is that I chose this particular motel because the person that I stayed there with is whos funeral I was attending the next day.Im sure that if the road work finishes that they will beback to the clean rooms weenjoyed then. I bought this insurance but sofar unless they planon fixing my car I would never recommend wasting money . Hotels.com shouldhave known about the construction
