The letting company do not respond to messages. The apartment is. Dry poorly equipped without any basic facilities (salt/pepper, washing up liquid, cooking oil). Kitchen and living area was very dirty with hair and food on the rug, glitter and sand on the sofa. We paid for an apartment to use full facial including a washer and dryer. The clothes came out smelling worse and the dryer was broken. I reported on day 1 and was told it would be fixed - no one came. The location is good and has lots of potential. $1.90 on washing up liquid isn’t unreasonable given the cost. The apartment smelt of smoke and was not professionally cleaned at all. We were very disappointed with our stay. In its current form I would not recommend at all.

The clothes dryer didn't work (found out after doing washing), Only one light for the whole dining & kitchen area worked ..very dark, The hand rail on the stairs was coming away from the wall, The extraction fan above the cooktop does not work(open all doors when cooking), It was NOT a 55in smart tv, Big wardrobes but supply your own hangers, The two main window blinds were jammed, The microwave was melted down one side and one kitchen cupboard was full of hundreds of syringes( very strange) The neighbors party untill 4am, Booking in was a big hassle . Pros the shower was nice

Check in process was easy. The room was like the pictures but it did not look as though it gets professionally cleaned. Maintenance was lacking as there were multiple holes in the walls that needed to be touched up. It wouldn’t take long to do and would make the place look more presentable. Floors weren’t very clean either. Found our fob did not work in the elevator so I rang the property managers and spoke to Chloe and she just said well use the stairs which is an absolute ridiculous response especially considering we were travelling with a baby meaning we had extra items. Nothing was done so we literally had to lug all our stuff down the stairs upon check out. Very disappointing service from the property management. Wouldn’t recommend booking with any units under their care. We had an 8 number pin to use to get in our room, again what an absolutely ridiculous amount of numbers to enter into the room, 6 would’ve been plenty as I’m sure they would have to regularly change the pin anyway.

We liked the location. South end of Surfer's Paradise. It was quiet. We liked that we had a frig, stove, microwave, dishes, toaster, hot water carafe, balcony with table and chairs, washer and dryer with a sink next to them for rinsing things out. Beach is within walking distance. 1 block from the tram that takes you north and south and easily accessible. Dryer is a bit small so takes a while to dry things. But everything else was good. Reasonable price. Would rent again and recommend.

Good location and apartment was in a good modern condition, however we were disappointed the dryer was faulty on arrival and we rang the managers who said a maintenance person would fix it but it wasn’t fixed. Also some small things like there being no tv remote or forks (only wooden ones were left which broke easily). So some small improvements could have made the stay a lot more enjoyable, but still a good place to stay which suited our needs.

The apartment itself isn’t too bad, but the design of it means that the upstairs bedroom is about 10 or more degrees hotter than downstairs (upstairs desperately needs a ceiling fan). The air con springs a leak every now and again, and since it's directly over the TV, means you have to turn it off too.

We received an email from the property management team while traveling instructing us to: 1) go to one address, pick up keys 2) go to second location, the location of the rental. Turns out, they sent us the wrong instructions, so, after 25 hours of flights, we were at the wrong hotel for the keys the property management company put in the lock box for us. Upon several calls to the emergency line for the property management company, we were instructed to head to a different address, the original one we thought we booked. Since we did not have the proper instructions, we did not have the code to the apartment. We could not find a keyhole, we were exhausted, sitting in a hot hallway waiting for help that did not come. After an hour at least of messing with the lock for quite a while we found the hidden location to put the key in. Would have been nice to have those instructions. The beds in the second room were unusable. The couch has tape on it to cover a rip, the blind was stained & ripped at the bottom. The dryer did not work that was listed as an amenity and the air conditioning worked for a bit then cut out. Also there were many cockroaches in the apartment. While most of the staff were pleasant enough, none of the issues with the unit were rectified in the 2 weeks we stayed there. We also met another gentleman who encountered the same problem with the check in routine who was stuck outside the building for 2.5 hours.

Good location. Nice size apartment. Limited power points in rooms so would be good to have an extension cord available. hooks for towels in bathroom would also be nice and a water jug is always appreciated. The dryer did not work while we were there. They said someone would come Monday but no one did. Other than that, staff were friendly and location was good. Tv was quite small for size of room so Rainy night movie night was a bit hard lol

The property is central with easy and nearby access to the light rail, beach and cafes. The apartment had an offensive odour and had to be aired out to dissapate the strong scent of bleach and previous occupants. The floors were not clean. The rug in the room was filthy and the washing machine had a foul odour. The loft mattress was dirty and had a urine stain.
