Downtown Saratoga Springs

Downtown Saratoga Springs charms visitors with Victorian elegance and a lively atmosphere. Congress Park sits at its heart with ornate pavilions and the historic Canfield Casino housing art galleries. Tree-lined Broadway showcases preserved 19th-century storefronts where high-end boutiques and local artisans display their wares. The famous Saratoga Race Course draws excited crowds during summer season. The neighborhood boasts farm-to-table restaurants and craft cocktail bars with a sophisticated nightlife scene. Historic boutique hotels and Victorian B&Bs offer character-filled lodging options within walking distance of most attractions. The compact downtown layout makes exploring on foot a breeze, with most highlights packed into a charming six-block radius.

East Side Historic District

Step into Saratoga Springs' East Side Historic District, where grand Victorian mansions with ornate gingerbread trim line tree-canopied streets. This living museum of 19th-century architecture offers peaceful strolls on brick sidewalks beneath natural archways formed by mature elms and maples. The Children's Museum at Saratoga provides a family-friendly attraction amid the historic charm. Elegant bed-and-breakfasts in restored Victorian homes dominate accommodations, offering period furnishings and gourmet morning meals. Downtown's amenities are just a 10-15 minute walk away, with abundant street parking and bike-friendly roads making exploration easy. Evening activities are minimal in this quiet residential enclave.

North Broadway

North Broadway showcases Saratoga Springs' grandest Victorian and Gilded Age mansions along a magnificent tree-lined avenue. This residential historic district invites travelers to stroll wide sidewalks while admiring ornate porches, turrets, and decorative trim on meticulously maintained estates. The neighborhood's peaceful atmosphere offers a refreshing contrast to downtown's energy, with mature elms creating natural shade corridors perfect for architecture enthusiasts. Just a 10-minute walk from downtown amenities, North Broadway features elegant bed-and-breakfasts in converted Victorian mansions, providing upscale lodging experiences for those wanting to immerse themselves in the neighborhood's Gilded Age charm.

West Side Historic District

Saratoga's West Side Historic District whisks you back to the Gilded Age with its show-stopping Victorian mansions and tree-canopied streets. Take a leisurely stroll past ornate gingerbread trim, wraparound porches, and gardens that look like they're straight out of a period drama. The neighborhood sits just minutes from downtown attractions like Congress Park and the famous Saratoga Race Course. History buffs and architecture lovers will feel like they've hit the jackpot here. While dining options are limited within the district itself, a quick 10-minute walk gets you to downtown's restaurant scene. Accommodation comes in the form of elegant bed & breakfasts in restored Victorian homes, where you'll sleep surrounded by period furnishings and wake up to personalized service.

Geyser Crest

Geyser Crest offers a peaceful escape from the tourist buzz while keeping you close to all the action. This quiet Milton neighborhood puts you just minutes from Saratoga Spa State Park and the Performing Arts Center. Morning walks along tree-lined streets set the perfect tone before heading out to explore nearby attractions like the Saratoga Automobile Museum. Finding your way around requires wheels, so bring your car or plan on ride-sharing. 8/10 Good
"Liked the spaciousness of the room. Everything was clean, staff very responsive. Nice choices for breakfast. The one thing we did notice, and know it cannot be easily changed, is that it would be nice for the bathrooms to be bigger-felt a bit tight on the shower/toilet area. And a door between the sink area of the bathroom and the room itself would be great for privacy and muffling sounds-esp with multiple adults staying in the room. Also a bit disappointed that the jets in the hot tub were not working. But overall, enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at this property again. "
