Friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

The Padre Motel is excellent value. The rooms are on the small side but perfect for a night or 2. I didn’t give 5 stars because I consider a Hyatt a 5 star stay. With that said it was clean and comfortable. Perfect location for wha we were looking for.

Location was great, walk to food and close to trails. We stayed in the 2 bedroom room which worked out well for 3 of us. Owner and staff were very helpful and responsive to all our requests. Value for price was exceptional!

The location was great for visiting the Grand Staircase. The owner is nice. The place is a bit dated however.

Very basic hotel…but not a lot of choice in town. But, enjoyed the stay. Need an ice maker asap!

This is an older motel but the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the owner was VERY helpful. He went above and beyond and gave us frozen ice packs to use.

Nice place! Comfortable room. Water pressure was great! Water warmed up very quickly! The man that checked us in was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area! He answered our questions and gave us information about various sights! It is an older property, yet well maintained.

This is an older hotel that is very well-maintained. The owner was friendly and helpful. We had a two-bedroom room with comfortable beds. I would stay here again.

After 14 years in the coffee industry, I can say the attention to detail on the coffee quality at the Padre was impressive - better than any motel or hotel I've ever stayed. Comfortable beds are also important, and we found the bed was very comfortable.

Actually a motel that deserves five stars. The guy operating the property was great to interact with at check-in and his cat Chonk is awesome.

A nice place to stay. Great host, who went out of his way to be helpful. A large comfortable room. Right in the centre of Escalante, which is a relatively quiet, easy to like town. Close to the grocers and places to eat. Very good coffee in the room and well appointed bathroom. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows.

The room was clean with nice linens and pillows. The microwave and fridge worked perfectly. The toiletries were nice since so many places don't supply those any more. The location is central to many activities in the area. The proprietor was friendly and extremely helpful.

This is a little gem in a great location - don’t let the old-fashioned appearance deceive you. Just sorry we were only there for one night, because it would be a great home base for exploring the area. We had two small bedrooms and a sitting area for our family of 3, which felt luxurious. Beds were comfortable and the property was spotless. The Keurig coffee maker with real half and half was a real bonus. Best place we’ve stayed on this trip!

This is a very old-school type of motel. It was very clean and had a great tv. I really appreciated that this property has been well maintained.
