This was the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in! Everything was spotless. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The location was perfect too, as you are walking distance to many amazing cafes and attractions. Beautiful views as well

The location is wonderful. The room and building is also very nice, modern, and clean. However, there is no front desk and no help staff. If you have questions you have to text (or call) a remote FD agent who may or may not be able to help. Because there is no front desk, you cannot store luggage anywhere in the facility before or after your stay. Check out time is also early - 10am. I will stay somewhere else next time.

Quarto amplo e confortável para 2 adultos e 2 crianças. Banheiro grande e excelente. Tudo novinho e impecável. Check in rápido e fácil. Localização perfeita!! A poucos passos da Basílica de São Francisco com um vista linda!! Local tranquilo e silencioso.

Zimmer sehr sauber; kein Personal vor Ort, da eher Bed ohne Breakfast, sehr geringe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir hatten bei der Buchung eher an ein Hotel oder eine Pension gedacht; wohl nicht richtig aufgepasst. Check in kompliziert. Die Angaben für Parkmöglichkeiten sind falsch, kein Parkplatz vor oder auf Grundstück.

This place was BEAUTIFUL!! In front of the main Basilica! The view from the window was stoning at any time of the day, but specially morning and afternoon! The way to check in was new for us since we received everything by mail and text, but the person on the other side guide us step by step! Everything was clean and quite! Just a dream! A really recommended it!

Hotel is in a great location, within the "old town walls" and just a few meters from the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi. It has just a few rooms, modern, and very clean facilities. This hotel does not have its own parking: since it is located within the "ZTL" (Limited Traffic Zone), you need to leave your car in a public parking lot about a 5–10 minute walk away, and carry your luggage with you. Another point: we were "remotely" welcomed via WhatsApp instructions, also the intercom at the main door. We did not meet any staff on site.

Le Dimore della Custodia: five stars The most beautiful hotel room I’ve ever stayed in Our room was spacious and flooded with light from three beautiful windows. The bathroom was bright too, thanks to a skylight above the shower. The view was the real star: the Basilica of St Francis of Assisi and the valley below, truly breathtaking. This is not your typical hotel. Everything is handled remotely by WhatsApp or email, with no reception and no one to queue behind. Once you’ve paid the city tax, you get very detailed instructions. A keypad opens the gate to the property and leads to the courtyard, and a second keypad opens the building door. You’re directed to your floor, where the key waits in a lovely sackcloth pouch on the door. Then you step into that beautiful room. The hotel also gave us a WhatsApp number, and it proved its worth. After a truly special wedding day, we returned around 11:30 PM and I couldn’t find my room access card. I pictured hunting for another room, or sleeping in the car. I messaged the number and within moments had a reply: no problem. I only had to message when I was outside the door and they would open it remotely, and a replacement card would arrive in the morning. That is service that goes above and beyond, and I was hugely relieved. THANK YOU FOR THIS! We would come back to Assisi in a heartbeat, because the town is spectacular, and I would stay here again and again. I recommend it to anyone who asks, and even to those who don’t.
