Very convenient to Union Station for a work trip. I was able to store my luggage before check in and after check out. Super clean and updated. It was easy to come and go with entry code but when I did interact with staff they were very friendly and helpful! Would stay again.

Great and advance communication about when to expect to receive check in details. I was traveling internationally and coming into town late for this stay, so knowing what to expect and having responsive hosts was great. The property was nice, clean, and easy to access. Very convenient to blue line and union station. Near several nice offices as well. Loved that there was a kitchen and laundry, I’d return and stay again for those. Thanks!

In West Loop a few minutes walk from Union Station, this self-checkin hotel was spotless and comfortable. I was surprised to be greeted by senior management of the chain who helped with my luggage. Note there are no lobby amenities or staff on site, and restaurants are a few blocks away. This was conveniently located for meetings in the Loop and University of Illinois. Next door is Lou Mitchell’s famous breakfast diner.

This was an incredibly small room (so small that you had to duck around the TV to get to the other side of the bed. The location is not convenient and the value for what you pay is not worth it. There is no staff on site and no services on site (even the vending maching was hauled away while we were there).

The room was awesome in every way, like a really nice extended stay place. The automated process with emails and door codes, etc. worked very well. But I did also appreciate having a staff person on site. Without a watchful eye, I could easily picture people taking advantage, i.e., lots of people in a room, parties, etc.. We did hear people having a good loud time in a nearby room, but they quieted down after a while, and we had a great night.

Got assigned to the ground floor, bed next to the lobby area outside the elevator, and also next door to the luggage storage locker. The ceilings are not closed or sealed, so walking and stepping on the floor above are not very well insulated from noise. The noise from the lobby with late folks coming in and out of the elevator or the luggage storage is really loud and travels throughout. Did I also mention the staircase next to the room? Yep, this room might as well have been surrounded by every high-traffic feature of the hotel because nothing was missing, except that the gym was halfway down a short hallway. The worst part is the early-morning deliveries in the back parking lot for the popular restaurant next door. The bedroom window is right next to that and not very well sound-insulated, even with this situation as a known possibility. Given that this is the only room on the ground floor, it should have been made into something else, or more effort should have been put into the environment to reduce noise on all fronts, inside and out. The staff was also not very accommodating about refunding the last night, as I could not stay at the property longer to continue late nights and early mornings due to the lack of sleep this caused. For the rate, I would or should have just picked a moderate standard hotel elsewhere instead of this converted property.

Overall my experience was good. The room itself was clean, well laid out and had everything I needed. The kitchen would have been great if I had been there longer. My only complaint was that check in was a little delayed past 3pm.
