We were greeted by the staff who can speak English. Check in was very smooth. There’s amenities you can take to your room such as instant coffee, creamer, sugar, washcloth, toothbrushes and water.
The room is spacious for Japanese style. Plenty of space to store our luggage in the room. Spacious shower room, separate toilet room. Kitchenette. There are cubbies for clothing and a place to hang some clothes. Lots of hooks along the hallway wall to hang jackets and hats.
The beds are very firm but comfortable. The pillows are very hard.
TV is streaming service only. You can log into Netflix, Amazon prime, YouTube TV and some other choices. But it’s all in Japanese. Luckily Google Translate helps to understand it. Same with the washer/dryer and stove. It took awhile to figure out how to use them.
The only thing missing was a table and chairs. They have these in other apartments but I didn’t pay close enough attention to this when I booked our apartment. Also a little beach to sit on to put shoes on would be nice.
There’s a 7-eleven around the corner. The subway station we used most is called Kanda and is only a 7 minute walk. The Tokyo station is about 15 minutes walk.
The area is a business part of town. But any train station you go to has a shopping malls and tons of restaurants. Getting around by subway/train is so easy. Make sure you get a Suica card. It is extremely useful for trains, restaurants and shops. Also taxi if you wish.
