My and my partner stayed for two nights and choose the hotel since we heard it had excellent service. That was not true and it was shown to us multiple times.
1. Check-in time took about 40-50 minutes and there was only one person in front of us.
2. Booked a room with a queen-size bed, received a room with 2 single beds. Unable to revoke the booking, the compromise they could offer was for us to change the room the second night.
3. We had to be at the reception a specific time to change room. This was not something the hotel could do for us but we had to do it. We decided to stay at the pool until we were going to change the room, my partner changed room for us which took more than 1 hour. An enormous amount of paperwork at the reception that had to be filled in, which we also did at check-in.
4. We needed medical care, asked the reception to help us find one, the answer: "Google" it or check the mall across the road. After looking 1 hour we come back, reception helped finally book a taxi, come to the wrong clinic. Clinic booked a taxi to the correct clinic.
5. Checkout took about 45 minutes. I don't understand why at some hotel you just drop the key?
TLDR; The hotel was not a relaxing stay. Bad service, slow check-in/out. This hotel was the only hotel during our 21 days trip to Malaysia we felt a relief to finally had the chance to leave.
