It’s one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a hotel.
1. The hotel is located on a very sketchy street with graffiti and trash and it’s completely dark in the evening. I’m afraid to get out in the evening for dinner.
2. It is located at the second floor (there are four sections of star is) of the building and there is no elevator.
3. The check-in is super complicated. The owner sent me this one-minute long video to show how to check in. There are too many doors to open and they need to be opened in different ways. They are all like riddles to me. It’s like an escape room. It took me half an hour just to get in my room and I felt absolutely desperate that no one was there to help.
4. I was not informed about the location of the breakfast until the morning after my second night in the hotel. It’s at another location. And I was informed only because they need to charge tourist taxes from me. And they need me to pay it at the breakfast location.
5. The room is super small with a tiny bed. The quilt is hidden in the closet and it seems they have never been washed.
6. The AC gives a weird smell.
7. They clean every day without changing the towels. It seems to me that they just changed the bed sheet and put the quilt back into the closet.
8. There are stains on the bed sheet.
9. Wifi with 2Mbps? It’s so slow that it’s almost like a joke.
10. The electricity suddenly went off on my second night here. There was no explanation or notification from the owner.
