We stayed there only one night and we loved the surroundings with the National Palace and the beautiful garden. The restaurant, which was only 50m across the street, was both unique and very picturesque. Due to a misunderstanding (on the part of the hotel) the restaurant was not available to us as they had a larger group. But since we had booked the room including half board ie. dinner - they arranged for us to eat completely alone (5 people) in the restaurant and with VIP service. The food (halibut) was delicious and the whole thing was a very powerful experience in the exciting environment.
We can really recommend this hotel and this restaurant - for one of your nights when you visit Lisbon. We then moved to a more central hotel
