The hotel itself is very nice but the staff communication is very very poor. The room is very nice, well decorated, comfortable bed, and a nice bath bathroom. There's a pool and a spa. Both very nice and very clean. The restaurant was a little pricey but not more than you would expect for a hotel and the food quality was outstanding. However, if you eat at the hotel, you should pay at the restaurant. Uruguay as a 17% vat that it gets rebated to foreign travelers. But if you put the expenses to your room, you don't get the rebate. You also have to pay in US dollars if you pay at checkout. Between losing out on the repay and the exchange rate, it's about 20% more expensive. This is something the hotel should communicate probably multiple times. It's a shame cuz all of this came to light at checkout, without ruining it otherwise lovely stay.
Also, the location is good but a little far from the good cafes in the neighborhood.
