Granted, Talk Of The Town isn't the most luxurious hotel in town. It's a pretty cheap (compared to many others) and small scale hotel located close to town and the airport. But this is what I actually enjoyed. I found the high-rise hotel stretch without charm and very Americanized, although I'm sure it's very luxurious and the beaches are indeed nice. The surfside beach by TOTT is not as wide nor as long, but a very beautiful stretch of beach nevertheless and also nice for walking and popular with the locals during weekends which I actually enjoy. You get free beach chairs at the Reflections Beach Club which did however play too loud music for my taste on some occasions, especially during weekends.) The hotel itself has a small but nice pool area with hot tubs which I enjoyed. Breakfast is a bit to simple and repetitive, but great orange juice. Cleaning was good and they even did the dishes.I wouldn't consider the interior of the room very cozy, but you spend all day outdoors anyway so it doesn't really matter. We had an apartment with AC in both bedrooms as well as the living room where we stayed five people for a week. Service was good and they did solve our requests, but as many other places in the Caribbean it doesn't always feel genuine and with a bit lack of interest in their guests. All in all a pleasant stay however.
