Faulty towers revisited
1st thing I need to point out is that I received a phone call from the hotel asking what time I was checking in! There is no mention of a check in time needed on website. I had to change plans to ensure I checked in. I do understand that staff have lives and the lady on reception was very apologetic but still ..,,,
2nd thing , there is no lift. I was given a room on the 2nd floor and had to lift my very heavy suitcase up several flights of stairs ( I’m no spring chicken )
3rd thing , the TV had no remote. And because I arrived late and given the fact the lady on reception clearly needed to rest, I did not feel I could ask for help.
4th thing, I could hear an entire conversation being had in the room next to me. No one’s fault but obviously the walls are thin so bring earplugs.
On the positive side . The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean
