The walls to the adjoining rooms are paper thin. Conversations can be heard clearly. This is inconvenient at any point, but especially when the neighbours are loud. If you enjoy a good night's sleep, this should not be your first choice.
The location is convenient on (or rather just next to, it's a very short walk) the boardwalk, and at no point did it appear like an unsafe back street as previous reviews have asserted. It is next to a racquet ball court which given the condition of the walls is an inconvenience but it is only open during the day.
Cleanliness is not adequate. We had to ask for a change of bed linens since there were hairs (note the plural) on the bed. The linen change was performed without complaint.
The pool, though small, appeared clean.
I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend the hotel to a friend.
