The room we were given, facing the train tracks, was a nightmare due to the noise and vibrations—it was simply impossible to sleep. They moved us to another room farther away, but it was right in front of a construction site, where workers could see us up close, making it necessary to always keep the windows closed. Although the front desk offered to move us to another room on a higher floor, they never called us back. On the other hand, the hotel has nice decor but is poorly located for resting. I am a loyal visitor of the Novotel chain in South America, but I wouldn’t return to Novotel Miami.
