The hotel is very much overrated. We stayed 3 nights and very much regret staying here. Our first night we switched rooms three times as the AC didn't work and the service was very slow. We only got some help when we was able to talk to the manager as the rest of the staff simply promises to help but end up not doing it. Further the rooms are very worn down where stuff is hangin of the hinges and you get the feeling at least 50% of the furniture in the room should have been replaced years ago.
We also talked to another couple who stayed at the hotel, they have booked their small villas and the door to the villa was not possible to lock, and as there were no other villas available they were placed in one of the smaller rooms. Not exactly how you want your experience to turn out.
As there were so many troubles with our stay we were promised a 30% return. Although, I had to have alot of contact with them before they refunded me as they just kept promising that they would refund me but just didn't do it. It took about 4 months of constant e-mail in order to get my money back. We stayed at two other hotels in General Luna which was much better and very friendly staff, so my recommendation is to find another hotel that actually delivers a 5-star experience, because Siargao Bleu delivered a weak 3-star experience.
