Lesante Blu was a great hotel that lived up to my expectations. The room was beautiful, the pool area was amazing and the service was great. However, the food choices were a bit poor for a hotel this standard, I think. Either you could eat a buffet in the breakfast room (I wasn't up for that) or you could eat by the pool, which could have been great, but with mains at 45-60 euro, this alterantive was prized as the best restaurants in London, and I don't think the quality had been even remotely the same. I had lunch at the pool restaurant and wasn't overwhelmed, so didn't want to spend 100+ euro per person there for dinner. The hotel is around twenty minutes from Zante town, where there are some good options. If you choose not to have a car, you will spend quite a lot on taxis during your stay, as nothing is walking distance from the hotel. People at the hotel were very rude and put their towels or other belongings on the pool and beach sun loungers early morning - sometimes without ever using them. On one occassion, we had nowhere to sit although only 40% of the sun beds were occupied by people. The rest were just "taken", but nobody was using them. I know it's not the hotel's fault, but perhaps they need to put some kind of system in place to prevent this from happening.
