Not worth the money
Having heard only good things about the hotel, we had high expectations - but ended up extremely disappointed.
The location is very noisy - we didn’t sleep until after 3AM any night and nothing has been done in the rooms to reduce the outside noise. While a location can be noisy, at least we’d expect a luxury hotel to deal with it at least to some extent.
The check in was arrogant and outright unfriendly. The knowledge about restaurants, concerts and other events close to non-existent, which is no unacceptable for this level of hotel. Asking for a really good place to have lunch, we got recommended a fast food food court.
The in-house coffee shop serves good coffee and really bad sandwiches at a high price.
One of the days they forgot our housekeeping (and no, we didn’t leave a “don’t disturb” sign) and had to ask for housekeeping four times. We never got it.
So - spend your money somewhere else!
