Beautiful but expensive hotel
Beautiful hotel
The hotel is beyond my normal travel budget but seemed like a good choice in fairly booked out Valle de Bravo over new years. But probably worth it for a couple of nights.
It has a good location a short walk up from the bustle on the main street and the main square. Up here you get fresher air and hear more dogs than cars.
The service is very good but the cleaning lady is a wizard. She has total control and usually did our room while we were eating breakfast - which was very good by the way.
There are a couple of drawbacks:
The constant flow of sometimes loud lounge music from morning until late makes it hard to relax by the pool.
The open layout with sliding glass doors is beautiful but make the common areas, including the restaurant, chilly at night and in the mornings.
A corking fee of 280 peso is pretty steep.
