Worst check in experience ever. No queue system in place, and only two people doing check ins despite four people running around in the lobby. It would have been much more effective if the extra people managed the line, and made sure people kept a distance, given the ongoing pandemic. Now it was chaos and took over 30 minutes to check in.
The room was overall nice but the bed was a bit hard. Annoying that they had paper cups, but wrapped them in plastic, felt quite unnecessary. Especially given to all their “climate friendly” actions and quotes all over the room.
The service was only ok. Never have I lived in an hotel were the hotel staff didn’t say hi when we entered the hotel, nor said bye when leaving. Also, none of the facilities advertised were available for us. You had a book everything in advance, so we got to stay 1 hour at the pool on the day of check out, between 9-10. And the gym was not available during our whole stay, which was also one of the reasons we chose the hotel. In my experience, people barely use the gym during vacations and it’s often empty, but because the hotel staff kept prompting people to book during check-ins, I think it was full due to that, rather than it actually being used. Also, the pool and gym facilities are too small for the size of the hotel and annoying that the pool site closed already at 6 pm. If only staying for a night or two, forget about the facilities, it’ll be fully booked.
