This is a modern and trendy hotel in a renovated old spirit factory. The staff speaks very good English and seem happy to work there. Very helpful. The interior is made to attract hipsters, but also this old senior appreciated it ;-)
Bar and large lounge around the reception.
Our room was comfortable and quiet. Excellent bathroom. A minus that you can't open the window. Other hotels found solutions where the ac is automatically turned off.
The breakfast buffet was far better than we expected, after reading the reviews. But for an environmental friendly hotel, there were many disposable plastic packages. Could be improved, even in Corona times. The hotel we stay in now, serves youghurt, salad, honey etc in reusable small glass packages. We appreciate that. And do change the supplier of croissants ;-) There are excellent, crispy, mini croissants in the market. The baugettes, however, were perfect. Parking in the underground garage available at an extra charge.
There are some restaurants, cafes and shops in the same "factory area", but apart from that, the surroundings are very sleepy.
