The room is located in an apartment building on one of the busiest restaurant streets in old town Dubrovnik. There are many stairs to reach the building and the room itself was further up some stairs one floor up. There are no elevators which is the standard rule in old town Dubrovnik since all buildings are old. The room itself was in a corridor with other rooms adjacent, much like any other hotel rooms. The room wasn't especially spacious but wasn't tiny either. The bathroom however was very small and I dont think I have ever seen a smaller and more impractical bathroom sink. The AC in our room didn't function properly so the room never got as cool as the corridor outside and there was a constant humidity in the room. To be fair I never complained about this to the owner because I was only staying for two nights and didn't want to spend half of that time with workers in the room trying to fix the faulty AC. There was no view whatsoever the window literally opened facing a wall not more than 3 meters away. Service however was impeccable, the owner was very welcoming, very helpful and extremely attentive. She helped me with a luggage problem and stored my luggage a full 24 hours before my check in. She was also readily available on phone or whatsapp if anything came up. My tip is though to take another look amongst what is available. On the same trip, a few days prior, I had a full two story apartment with an unbeatable ocean view in old town for half the price.
