I'm generally not a complainer, but when I arrived at the unit,
-the PIN for the door did not work. I was outside at night for about 30 minutes, until somebody replied to my text and call.
-I was so tired, so I just unpacked, and slept right away. When I woke up the next day, I realized the kitchen sink was jammed up, and the kitchen sink was leaking. There was water overflowing from the bottom(pics attached). No need to explain the stink/smell from the sink...
-There was also a hole in the bathroom.
-A lamp did not work.
The lamp, not a big deal. The hole in the wall, also not a big deal(both of these things did not materially affect my stay). But the jammed and leaking sink was not a good thing at all.
I complained and although the sink was fixed within the day, I felt that customer service was not really sorry about what I went through. They offered me 1 hour late checkout(from 11am to noon....).
I'm sure it's not CS fault, but I really felt that Abode(the company I rented from), could have done a bit more for someone in my predicament.
