The area is absolutely fantastic! Walk anywhere and everywhere. Lots to do in the area, restaurants, museums, supermarkets, boutiques, pharmacy, all the important buildings. Location couldn’t be any better!
It’s an old man hotel for sure. Wall-to-wall carpet, feels gross. Rooms are small, shower is minimal and super annoying, even I felt inconvenienced, I’d assume it is not suitable for people out of shape or older (risk of slipping). There is no place to do your makeup, bad lighting and no area to put the bag down on. The hairdryer looks like something you would find at an indoor swimming facility circa 1990, didn’t even use it, I just decided to let my hair air dry in the sun. The corridors seem dark and there are actual keys to open the door (not card) so as a young woman this would freak me out, in case you are reading this as a confused privileged man this key means I have to stand and trick with the key in the dark corridor for longer as well as standing still for a longer time outside of my room, I would be stressed getting to my room after dark. Luckily enough I’m travelling with my sweet guy friend so it was fine, but as I usually solo travel this definitely wouldn’t have felt great if I went alone.
