At check-in we were given the (actual) key to our room and took the elevator up. When trying to open our room door, it turned out to be impossible. Neither one of us is weak, but there is a limit to how much force you dare to use on a hotel door. After a while one of us decided to go down to the reception to ask for assistance, and was told that there is no problem and others have stayed in that room without any problems (yeah right). The receptionist was also not able to immediately open the door and rugby tackled it and then it opened. Once inside: in the bathroom there were dark hairs (we are ginger & blonde) and on one toilet paper roll there was something brown. The sink is tilted and when hanging the shower head up, it tilts down until the water is spraying into the wall instead of on you. The bed has a huge mirror on the footside wall and a slightly smaller one just above your heads, which is rather odd. The bed side closest to the window made so much noise when sitting on/moving in it that it was ridiculous and we had to get it on video because otherwise no-one would believe us. The side closest to the room had a broken/fallen out plank in it. The laminate floor is impossible to walk on without making noise. When coming back at night after a day out, we once again could not get the door open, and at almost midnight you do not rugby tackle your door. We were miserable and did not want to ask for another room, we wanted a new hotel. Checked out after the first night.
