Well, to be honest, what's wrong with this hotels location is obviously not the hotels fault itself. But it is both dangerous and horrifying to walk to the hotel from the cable car (something you tend to do more than one time per day...). The road has no space to walk at, and the(many) cars is driving very fast around you. If you stumble along the road - say goodbye to your life. Although, if you can live with that, the only "problem" is that the hotel's interior in the rooms is quite simple and dull. The beds are not that comfy and the double bed is... double. It's two single beds just put together, which can be a hassle. However, the hotel's staff is simply just wonderful and helpful. If you ask, they will help you and they speak perfect English. The view from the terrace is worth every cent and the convenience of having a beach just 25m away, and a beach-terrace with sunbeds available at no cost. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, it's clean, the staff is just wonderful and the distance to the cable car is manageable. The price might be a bit high though for the hotel's standard, but the other hotels are very pricy too - Taormina is expensive.
