The apartment hotel feels like it's very new (built in 2006 I think) and been taking well cared of. It has excellent bus connections to downtown and all of its attractions, as well as to the airport (EDI) just a few minutes walk to bus number ten to get you to the tourists attraction and the fair is 1,60 gbp which you have to pay in even cash, the bus to the airport is very close too, number 100. The reception as odd opening times (9-5) but in case of an emergency you can contact them after working hours. There is also lots of DVD movies at the reception and you can borrow 3 at a time for no charge. An Xbox and games to it is also available to rent at the reception, 10 gbp as a deposit. When you check in there is a deposit of 100GBP that they charge your card with, you get it back after 6-10 days to your bank account. The area is beautiful with the lighthouses and the water right next to the apartments and there are plenty of pubs, fish market a great big mall close by and you get away from all the crowd that is downtown but as written earlier you can get there by bus in 30-40 minutes. The kitchen has everything needed to make a great meal by yourself and a large to with inbuilt DVD player is also in the apartment. The only thing that worries me is the incredible bad beds, I used to be in the military so I don't really complain about this sort of things, but still after 2 days of being back in Sweden my back hurts incredibly much. So that is maybe the only downside
