Surprised to check in at what felt like a bar! The hotel had very little atmosphere but the staff were all very pleasant/friendly/helpful. My room was very quiet, with two single beds pushed together, but nothing really stood out about it. The bathroom was tiled and clean but, in this price category, I would have expected quality schampoos, etc. and not just an all-in-one on the shower wall. The fridge and oron was a plus. The breakfast was really quite good with many choices, including clicking an iPad for a choice of four juices! The breakfast room was quite dark (doubles as a restaurant/bar in the evenings). Good location, just off Bulevardi, but for EUR150, I would have expected a bit more compared to what I get for that price in much bigger cities. Unless all of Helsinkis is over-priced for hotels on a Thursday night. It looks worn out and tired and without much soul but if dark public spaces are your thing, it will certainly appeal. A good three star hotel but I really cannot be more generous than that.
