The room was average, firstly on arrival i noticed when i chose my side of the bed there was a ghastly you no what hair, then i looked over the bed and i said to my husband errr there is one on your side as well. I went into the bathroom and one of the towels was dirty, Very basic room, they had this bedside table only it was weird i imagine they thought of it as art, it wasn't a cabinet it was a small table, didn't get it really, i think they went for a arty feel of the room when i would of rather had a clean room. The tv even though turned off had this blue glowing light shining right into your eyes at bedtime, we covered it over with a towel to stop it glowing. Food restaurant right underneath us as part of the hotel but no full menu letting you no exactly what was on offer, just a small card showing a few snacks. But location was fantastic, for those on a low budget they had a Lidl a low budget supermarket a 5 minute walk, for those who love food there were food halls everywhere in Almere and ladies and guys shops everywhere. Local bars. We chose Almere because we didn't want to stay in Amsterdam because of it's hustle and bustle. Our hotel was situated right by the sea and is a 10/15 minute walk to the train station which takes you right into Amsterdam, you can get a railcard at a good price and choose the amount of days on your return. Its a pleasant walk to the station because you walk right through the town centre so you can browse the shops and restaurants
