Lovely hotel (but a little off from city centre)
Beautiful hotel with lovely antique furniture and individually decorated rooms. Helpful and friendly staff, that helped us make reservations for a day trip to Uxmal and buy bus tickets for our trip back to Cancún.
The continental breakfast included in the price for the hotel room was excellent - fresh fruit, sweet buns, freshly made orange juice, milk with cereals, tea and coffee.
Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The hotel also has a lovely little pool, perfect to be able to cool down after a hot day on the town.
The only drawbacks are beds that are somewhat hard (although this seems to be common in Mexico), towels were raggedy and it's located 1,5-2 km from the city centre. On the other hand taxi fares are very low, so whenever we were heading out we caught a taxi. This was only due to that faxct that I'm pregnant, for normal walkers the distance should pose no problem.
