The room was clean and tidy. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a good breakfast selection. The hotel is in a good location, which was close to railway station and buses, so very convenient for me. I wish there was a fridge in the room. I enjoyed my stay. I would defintely book here again

The room was great and the double bed was brilliant. As we are a family of 4 (2 young children) the sofa bed was set up for us, this bed was not up to any kind of standard. If seems extremely old and the mattress had lumps all over, this did not enable the people sleeping on it to sleep at all.
The breakfast was outstanding!!!

Breakfast was OK and decent. Very small plates though. Room was clean. We visited on the 10th to 11th of Jan. Room was cold and as we travelled as a family the 1 room air con/heating did not work. The other room controls were not easy air con was so loud and heating struggled to get above 18°C. We were 2 mins walk away from Watford junction which was ideal as we could pick up the Harry Potter experience shuttle bus direct which took only 10 mins to get to the attraction. Good location.

The staff were all excellent: friendly and helpful. The breakfast had lots of great options and was plentiful. The room was comfy and roomy. It was a great place to stay for accessing the trains and regional busses. A bit of a walk over to the high street for shops and restaurants, but doable. Would stay here again.

The receptionists ( 2 gentlemen) were very friendly and welcoming, we were allowed into rooms an hour and a half early, which was an added bonus, room was as expected, clean, tidy and suited our needs.
The breakfast was really good, and the lady who was clearing the tables was excellent
