Me and my husband stayed in villa Casanova for two nights in august 2017. We would definitely stay there again.
Location:
Very good location! Close to boat stop (5-7 min walk i would guess) and close to the Main Street with lots of restaurants. Villa Casanova also have bikes that you can borrow for free so you can see more of the island.
Staff:
Very nice and friendly people who run the place! Feels like they genuinely care about the place and the service they provide.
Breakfast:
Great breakfast buffet and good coffee. When we were there they had: Boiled eggs, cheese and some cold cuts, pastries, croissants, juice, cereals & granola, fresh fruits, yoghurt. We liked that you could sit outside in the garden and eat your breakfast. Nice garden furniture, no plastic stuff!
Cleanliness:
The room was in good condition (no major wear and tear) and clean.
Room:
Lovely bright room (we had a corner room with two windows). High ceiling with typical Venetian style glass chandelier. The room had a safe, small fridge and hairdryer.
The only minus I think were the beds which were a bit too firm for us. And the door to our room could do with a bit of soundproofing. But then we were on the ground floor next to reception and the breakfast room. So other rooms upstairs probably don't have this problem. Otherwise I can't find anything wrong with this place. Lovely interior and furniture. It was very good value for your money I would say. Lots of places are more expensive and probably
