My experience at U'Panare was disappointing. I chose this accommodation using two filters on Hotels.com: Parking and Breakfast. However, parking was not available. The owner provided a parking address, which led me through a maze of narrow streets and dead ends. I eventually found a spot in a nearby plaza, but there were people asking for money to "watch" my car, which felt uncomfortable.
The neighborhood seemed unsafe, with people shouting at each other day and night. At one point, a man entered the building with me when I entered the keycode and began banging on metal doors and shouting loudly.
Additionally, there was a water leak from the window. Despite the owner's suggestion that the window hadn't been closed properly, I am certain it was. This caused a large puddle in the bedroom and soaked my suitcase.
Although the place was clean and the breakfast was good, I would not recommend this accommodation to other travelers.
