Fresh but far from the city
Our stay at diamonds capsule hotel was good. Of course the rooms are small and has no windows but they are fresh and modern. I would not recommend saying in the capsule rooms with anyone which you are not very very close with as the bathroom door is made of glas. In our particular room I wonder if they put the privacy sheet on the wrong way as you could not see out when on the toilets but you could see inside from the room. The location is a bit of and I don't recommended this location if you are going into Amsterdam very often. The area around the hotel is a bit abandoned but there's a campus nearby and nice housing. The tram station Uilenstede is a short walk away bit getting to Amsterdam and back in the evening can take more than an hour.
This was the cheapest hotel we could find but would have been worth a little more to have an easier time getting around.
